Programs
-Telecommunications Technologies
Education for the telecommunications industry of today and tomorrow.
Developed by Pace University's Ivan G. Seidenberg School of Computer Science and Information Systems in collaboration with the NACTEL partners, the curriculum for the degrees and certificates in this program enable students to fully understand the current and emerging telecommunications industry.
Students may elect to follow the traditional Telecommunications track and learn the fundamentals of the copper-based, landline operations or choose the newer fiber optic transmission of communications in the new Networking Technologies track. Either track leads to the A.S. degree and further, to Pace's new accelerated B.S. degree program.
Carefully developed by industry representatives working closely with Pace University faculty, these programs are unique because:
- The industry regularly updates the curriculum to respond to the changing dynamics of the telecommunications field.
- What students learn in these courses can be applied immediately to their jobs.
- Pace is fully accredited — credits are transferable.
- The program provides a foundation in mathematics, electronics, and emerging technologies giving students the skills to handle jobs now and in the future.
- The online learning format is flexible, allowing working adults to handle their coursework around their busy schedules. And, there are start dates throughout the year, making it even more convenient to go to school.
