Wireless Networking Essentials

The Certificate in Wireless Networking Essentials introduces students to intermediate concepts of wireless networking, including operating systems, solid states devices and circuits, wireless LANs, data transmission systems, and wireless network security. This certificate is designed as a follow up to the Intro to Broadband Certificate and is offered by fully accredited Pace University. The certificate can be used as either a stand-alone credential, or can be folded into the A.S. Degree, Wireless Networking Technologies. Students can choose to stop at any step along the way, or continue to complete the degree depending on their goals and needs.

Who should apply?
This program is open to people interested in learning the fundamentals of current broadband telecommunications technologies and who:

Have a high school diploma
Cannot attend a traditional college program
Want to prepare for entry level Broadband technician jobs in the industry
Want to expand their knowledge of Broadband technologies
Have completed the Intro to Broadband Certificate

What will I learn?
The courses provide students with the concepts needed for an intermediate level of understanding of the emerging wireless networking technologies.

What certificate will I earn?

Assuming most students are studying part-time, the program can be completed in one year.
