Please join us in congratulating the 2013 NACTEL graduates from Pace University!
We will hold the graduation reception on May 16th, at the Pace Plaza in New York City, and invite you to join us as we honor 82 graduates from around the country, who have earned either their Associate's or Bachelor's degree. In recognition of their own hard work, and the understanding and sacrifices of their families, those graduates attending the ceremony are encouraged to bring their family members to share in the excitement.
"Often the graduates are the first in their families to attend college; others have used their schoolwork to inspire or challenge their children or grandchildren. It's wonderful to see children cheering on their mom or dad, or parents honoring their adult children. These men and women are an inspiration," says Susan Kannel, Executive Director of NACTEL.
The NACTEL program at Pace University was created to allow students the flexibility to choose the area of telecom most exciting or relevant to their career interests and to complete a degree online. This year, reflecting one of the biggest and quickest-growing area of the industry, more graduates chose to specialize in mobile technology as part of their Associate's degree. An entirely online program, NACTEL offers students the chance to earn training credentials, or to take their education up to the Masters level. NACTEL students are working adults, predominantly in the telecom industry, who represent small and major corporations, unions and management.
This year, we celebrate six graduates from the Associate's program who have held perfect GPA's through their studies, and two from the Bachelor's program. In addition, Juan Guzman is the recipient of the Dr. Ferderick Dreyfus Award, which acknowledges a NACTEL student and life long learner who has performed outstanding work in all courses taken at Pace University, and demonstrated a strong desire to achieve a technical degree.
Congratulations to all of our graduates!
