Graduation time in New York City

May is always an exciting month for NACTEL. May 22, 2011 was graduation day for 104 NACTEL students from across the nation who earned either an Associate's or Bachelor's degree from Pace University. NACTEL graduates who were able to travel to New York City marched with fellow Pace University graduates at a spectacular graduation ceremony at Avery Fisher Hall in New York's Lincoln Center.

Prior to the ceremony at Lincoln Center, Pace University and the NACTEL Executive Board honored the NACTEL graduates and their families at a special banquet. Graduation was a memorable event for the graduates as well as for the many family members also present for the festivities.

This year's graduating class by the numbers:

• 57 - Associate's degrees
• 47 - Bachelor's degrees
• 26 - Number of states represented by graduates
• 44 - Students graduating with distinction
• 10 - Magna Cum Laude graduates
• 11 - Summa Cum Laude graduates
