Complex & Special Services Installers & Repairers

Position summary
Responsible for the installation, testing, maintenance and repair of communications equipment and services, including analog, data, sub-rate and high speed digital, DSL, VDSL, ISDN, audio and video services
  • Use computers to set up electronic systems and applications, and test and install individual services
  • Install computer interface cards in customer owned computers
  • Configure customer's computer hardware and software
  • Install modems and telephone filters and applications to complete DSL and VDSL services
  • Interface with other groups to ensure that committed service and test dates are met
  • Test the integrity of service prior to customer release
  • Work directly with customers to ensure that services and applications are working properly and meet the specifications

  • May require overtime, weekends and holidays

Educational/Experience Qualifications


Pay range
$51,000 to $85,000, depending on the amount of prior experience, region of the country, the company, and the amount of overtime.
